I very different unique photograph that is very artistic and also a very attractive CD as it is simple and not full of gimmicky. Also the colours are dimmed down and not bright which gives a vintage feel to the front cover. The bright colours shown in the scarf tide around her ankle draw the eye in and also the scarf looks like a butterfly and is the most colourful thing in the front cover. This photograph shows a close soulful lively band that are very unique in there album cover and in there music.

I would say that this video is a very 80’s style video and also is very unique and very interesting they used allot of special effects in there background. The video was very colourful and bright backing up my point of it being a very 80’s theme video and also there are four people in the band and there seems to be a main forces on the lead guitarist the one with black hair and a white guitar and a baby blue suit. All the male band members are wearing suits in pastel colours this is very 80’s. Also there style in hair in very 80’s and the women is wearing a purple cocktail dress quiet tight and fits in with the predominately male band. Strode lighting is used and white set backgrounds all very retro and vintage for the era they seem to be basing there video around (they make the video colourful through cloths and backing dancers). A paint ball effect is used when the main singer is standing by himself it is a very arty video this special effect works as all the colours are in keeping with the era they are basing it on. Flashing disco backgrounds are used to create a disco clubbing theme the purple and green flashes behind the drummer work very well. They give a very good 80’s 70’s disco vintage retro feels this they are targeting a very unique audience of indeed music which appeals to the young and the older generation.

This is very controversial CD cover and comes across as being very feminist I say this as the women in central in the image and also has not shaved in this image. Porously done she is attracting a audience of either feminist or people who just couldn’t care less. This just shows her attitude to her music. The two other people are very isolated and in the background of this image this makes them seems quiet insignificant in the band and the main attraction is Beth Ditto. The yello9w on black writing is very much like a lightening strike and also stands out allot, whereas the fuchsia colour on the black background does not stand out and seems very lost in the album cover.

Foo fighter’s video annotation very simple and much focused on the band members and not heavily involved with special effects at the beginning. Average setting very normal and realistic and also allot of close up shots on the main singer and the drummer very relaxed atmosphere. Clothing seems to be shirts and ties and open lumber shirts very casual relaxed feeling. The camera work make the audience feel like a part of the band by scanning around the band members like we would do if standing in the room. Special effects are used about ¼ of the way into the video and this special effect is the clouds fading into the room and fading into the shot when then lead singer approaches the microphone. Low lighting seems to be playing in a warehouse and when the chorus comes in the lights start to brighten and the band sings much more enthusiastic, extreme close ups on the band members. Lighting dies down dramatically when chorus over, establishing shots when they are playing panning around the room. The objects in the room seem to be very random trees indoors and sofas and clocks and draped material. Allot of fading of two camera angle and shots together, they use the English flag in the background looks like it’s covering a window using mirrors and household objects makes the place feel lived in.

Wedding setting at the beginning focusing on Leona’s face she is not singing in the first intro. Then she is sitting on the bed very wedding set. Modern Greek style atmosphere life style setting street life. Flirty storyline with the man and Leona and also a very mothering feel with the children. Then lovely sparkly water background while Leona is singing beautiful and very well presented. Seductive sexy flirting emotions happening all the way through the video. Night out scenes and typical husband and wife couple atmosphere. Being wed in the video this video is very much about love and betrayal and jealousy between Leona and newly wed couple
