Atreyu have a animated banner at the top of the website the hands move, the stone where effect in there typography is there band identity, as they have it all the way through there marketing. There background is there album cover and the colour scheme works and nothing clashes and is irritating, I think that flashing images and pictures and movies are distracting. They are promoting themselves by adverts and videos through the website, and also by choosing tour dates. The colour scheme fits the target audience which is why they have used stone natural colours and black. The title on the banner is very dramatic and very rocky which is why they have used this as it fits with the target audience. The typography is in keeping with the artist’s style of music I say this as there are no garish bright colours which symbolise happy these natural stone wear colours are very earthy but not unhappy.

Beyonce’s website is very simple and original and not generic as she has gone for a plain black and white theme also she is advertising her album with this ongoing theme.

Her website is easy to use and was very easy to find which a bonus when searching around is always. She has also advertised her new perfume which is coming out which stands out from her website as this is red (red gives the connotation of lust and love also passion). She also has polls on the fans favourite’s songs in her new album and also she has a fans area where they can talk to her and ask her about her performances and where they are going to be next. She has a very beautiful picture of herself on the top banner which fades into different photos and also she uses photos that are in her album or on the cover. Her website is very much an advert which is trying to promote her new upcoming album. She has used brand identity as she has made sure that her website matches her album cover and matches her merchandise and also matchs her as an artists. This makes it easy for her fans to follow and recognise her.

Mystery jets have gone for a very vintage website and there fading banner at the top of the website fades into two different images one of the band as you can see at the moment and the other is a close up of a mans face eating meatballs. which is strange and a little bit repulsing but it works due to the way and the characters in the band act they are very unique so have a ordinary website for them would miss there style completely. There website is very vintage I say this by the photo that is in the top banner. This photo says allot about them as a band and there style of music and character, they seem to posing in a big manor house with lots of marble carved heads that have been mounted. The way that they are sat down implies a staggered effect of importance as the main singer is looking outside the window, and the other two guitarists are blending into the background.
The mystery jets are a very artistic band I say this as they have a drop down on the website saying “dark room” which implies that they do there own photography and this really exploits the fact that they write there own songs and they are in-touch with there artistic world.
The mystery jets have gone for a less is more which I think is the best way websites that scream at you make you want to get off it as soon as possible and this website seems mellow and calming.
The website is very easy to understand and everything is clearly ladled and easy to find which is very important as if you have distracting writing which is hard to read people will have a bad impression of your website as the website reflects on the band and there style.
